PennDOT District 11 is announcing overnight sign removal work on I-376 (Parkway East) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur tonight, Thursday night, December 6 and Friday night, December 7 weather permitting.
Slow-moving sign removal operations requiring single-lane restrictions will occur in various locations on I-376 between the Fort Pitt Bridge and the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) interchange. Sign removal work will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night.
Additionally, a single-lane restriction will occur on westbound (inbound) I-376 between the Grant Street (Exit 71A) and Stanwix Street (Exit 70D) interchanges as crews review roadway conditions. The restriction will occur from 8:30 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m. Thursday night.
Motorists should use caution when traveling through the area.
