Also what about going home I 79 north last Friday my son was stuck in traffic over and hour so trying to see if this will.happen tomorrow November 17 2017 thanks

    1. Good Morning,

The work on the Neville Island Bridge will be occurring today from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM per PennDOT’s information. The work is in both directions so you would not avoid the lane restrictions if you were traveling Route 79 from Slippery Rock to Robinson and vice versa from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM today. If you are traveling outside of the designated work times the lane restrictions on the bridge won’t impact you.

I hope this information helps with your travel plans and please feel free to reach out with any additional questions you may have.

    1. Hello – I wanted to let you know that we received a press release from PennDOT that the work on the Neville Island Bridge is going to continue on Monday and Tuesday. The lane restrictions on the bridge will be from 9am – 3pm each day. I just wanted to make sure you received this update.
