The Department of Public Works announced today that work on McClellan Road in Indiana Township will start at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 22, 2019. The work, which is expected to last four months, is required to replace Deer Creek Bridge No. 9.
McClellan Road will remain open to traffic throughout the project using a temporary causeway downstream from the existing bridge. Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
In addition to replacement of the bridge, the project includes new bituminous pavement, drainage, guide rail, signing and pavement markings, and other miscellaneous construction and safety improvements.
The $1 million project is being done by C.H. & D. Enterprises, Inc. of New Stanton.
