I-376 Beaver County to Pittsburgh Airport
Project Start Date: Spring 2016
Project Completion: June 2018
A project hotline has been established to assist the public with any questions they may have during the construction of this project. The hotline will be manned Monday – Friday from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. Any after-hours or weekend calls will be returned the next business day.
This $66.34 million project located on 7.5 miles of I-376 from the McClaren Road interchange to approximately 1/2 mile into Beaver County includes concrete reconstruction and rehabilitation, joint repairs, bridge deck overlays and guiderail and drainage improvements. Two lanes of traffic in each direction will be maintained on I-376. Temporary crossovers will occur. One lane of crossed traffic will be utilized as an “express” lane which will by-pass all exits. The other lane will be the “local” lane which will allow access to the airport and other exits. Additional work includes the replacement of the Economy Road Bridge over I-376. The project is anticipated to conclude in June 2018.
Resurfacing on the Clinton Bridge and a portion of I-376 at the Beaver County line remains on this project. Work on the Clinton Bridge will require a single-lane restriction in each direction and two weekend closures to complete. Resurfacing on I-376 will be finished during weekends and one lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. Concrete reconstruction and rehabilitation, joint repairs, bridge deck overlays and guiderail and drainage improvements have been completed on 7.5 miles of I-376. The overall project will end in late June 2018.
