PennDOT District 11 is announcing a single-lane restriction on eastbound Route 22 (William Penn Highway) in the Municipality of Monroeville, Allegheny County, will occur this weekend Friday night through Monday morning, September 20-23 weather permitting.
A single-lane restriction will occur on eastbound Route 22 between Elliott Road and McClure Road from 8 p.m. Friday night continuously through 6 a.m. Monday morning. Crews will conduct concrete patching and paving operations. No restrictions will occur in the westbound direction.
The work is part of the $10.95 million Route 22 improvement project between Route 48 and Westmoreland County. The project includes milling and paving, concrete patching, drainage upgrades, guide rail improvements, curb and sidewalk work, bridge preservation, structural steel painting, signal updates, and sign and pavement marking installation.
