PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that overnight lane restrictions on I- I-376 (Parkways West and East) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will continue Monday night, May 22 weather permitting.

Crews will conduct the removal of existing pavement markings and installation of new durable pavement markings requiring lane restrictions in the following locations:

  • I-376 Parkway East in both directions between the Fort Pitt Bridge and the Greenfield Bridge nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through mid-June.
  • I-376 Parkway West in both directions between the Carnegie (Exit 65) interchange and the Fort Pitt Tunnel nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. through mid-June.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
