Restrictions needed on Camp Hollow and New England roads as part of the PA Turnpike’s Mon/Fayette Expressway Project.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission wants to alert motorists that starting Sept. 5, lane restrictions may be in place on Camp Hollow (State Route 2043) and New England roads in West Mifflin Borough, Allegheny County until Oct. 15.

The roads could be reduced to a single lane between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for crews to safely cut trees.

The lane restrictions on Camp Hollow Road would be in place between Phillip Murray Road and New England Road.

The lane restrictions on New England Road would be in place between Coal Valley Road and Camp Hollow Road.

The restrictions will not occur every day and will only be needed when crews are cutting trees in the area.

This work is part of the PA Turnpike’s southern section of the Mon/Fayette Expressway PA Route 51 to I-376 Project.
