PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work is underway on Lebanon Road (Route 885) and Buttermilk Hollow Road (Route 2040) in West Mifflin Borough, Allegheny County.

Single-lane alternating restrictions will occur daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. as needed through Saturday, December 7 in the following locations: 

  • Lebanon Road between Lebanon Church Road and Mifflin Road
  • Buttermilk Hollow Road between Lebanon Church Road and Pittsburgh McKeesport Boulevard

Crews will guide rail installation, shoulder repairs, and other miscellaneous construction activities. The project is part of a $5.86 million group paving job in Allegheny County.  A. Folino Construction, Inc. is the prime contractor.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 950 traffic cameras.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
