The Department of Public Works announced today that part of McIntyre Road between Byron Road and Thompson Run Road in Ross Township will close starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, 2023. The closure, which is expected to end in December 2023, is required for replacement of Pine Creek South Branch Bridge No. 10, including new pavement, guide rail, pavement markings, and signage.
Traffic will be detoured using Thompson Run Road, Duncan Avenue, Peebles Road, and McKnight Road. Residents living near the closure area will have access to their homes at all times.
The $1 million project will be done by Pugliano Construction Company, Inc., of Plum.
