How many times has it happened? You get in your car and start heading to work on your normal route, only to find traffic backed up due to an accident or construction. If only you could have known ahead of time and taken a different route!
Don’t leave your commute up to chance. Know before you go – with ACTA.
ACTA enables you to find out about any construction, road closures, or detours before you get into your car. Users get all the latest traffic advisories and construction updates immediately as they are received from PennDOT, City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County and the PA Turnpike Commission.
There are two free, no-hassle ways to sign up for ACTA Traffic alerts:
- Register online at actapgh.org
- Send your email address to firstname.lastname@example.org (write “Traffic Advisories” in the subject line). ACTA does not distribute any emails addresses to third parties.
You can also receive traffic advisories on Twitter following us at @ACTAPGH. In addition, on the ACTA website (actapgh.org), you can find detailed project information for some of the larger projects happening in the Airport Corridor and throughout the region.
