PennDOT District 11 is announcing replacement work on the Chapel Drive (Route 1005) culvert over a branch of the Connoquenessing Creek in North Sewickley Township, Beaver County, will begin Monday, June 10 weather permitting.

Beginning at approximately 7 a.m. on Monday, a portion of Chapel Drive between Mercer Road (Route 65) and Harpers Ferry Road (Route 1012) will close to traffic around-the-clock through late August.  PennDOT crews will conduct culvert replacement work.  All traffic will be detoured.

West of the Culvert

  • Take Chapel Drive to Route 65
  • Take Route 65 south
  • Turn left onto Harpers Ferry Road
  • Follow Harpers Ferry Road back to Chapel Drive
  • End detour

East of the Culvert

  • Same detour in opposite direction
