PennDOT District 11 is announcing gas line installation work on Route 1028 (Bakersville-Culmerville Road) in West Deer Township, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, June 22 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on Bakerstown-Culmerville Road between Logan Road and Shuster Road daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through late July. Crews from Peoples Gas will conduct the gas line installation work.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
