PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge improvement work continues on Route 168 in Taylor Township, Lawrence County.
Reconstruction work continues on the Route 168 structure over Route 422. A single-lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained through May of 2019 in the northbound direction of Route 168. Additionally, single-lane restrictions will occur on Route 422 at the Route 168 interchange according to the following schedule:
- Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Monday through Friday nights – 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Weekend work – Saturday at 6 a.m. continuously through 6 a.m. Monday morning
Ramp restrictions may occur. Additional details will be provided prior to any ramp closures.
The work is part of a $10.32 million project to improve over four miles of Route 168 between Galilee Road near Route 18 in North Beaver Township and near Moravia Street in Taylor Township. Additional work includes bridge rehabilitation and preservation, milling, drainage and guiderail improvements, curb and sidewalk repairs, and pavement marking installation.
Additional information will be provided as work continues on this two-construction season project. Swank Construction Company, LLC is the prime contractor.
