PennDOT is announcing a weekend closure on Route 3119 (McFarland Road) in Dormont Borough and the Municipality of Mt. Lebanon, Allegheny County, will occur Friday morning, June 14 through Monday morning, June 17 weather permitting.
Crews will conduct concrete patching, drainage improvements, joint and spall repairs, and other miscellaneous construction activities on McFarland Road from 9 a.m. Friday morning through 6 a.m. Monday morning. To allow the work to continue, McFarland Road will close to traffic between Beverly Road (Route 19) and Dell Avenue.

- Turn right onto Bower Hill Road
- Turn right onto Cochran Road (Route 19/121)
- Turn right onto Green Tree Road (Route 121)
- Turn right onto McMonagle Avenue
- Follow McMonagle Avenue to McFarland Road/Banksville Road

Overnight construction operations will be minimized to avoid noise concerns from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. each night.
The work is part of a $3.88 million group concrete repair contract. Crews from Gulisek Construction, LLC will conduct concrete saw-cutting and repairs, drainage improvements, joint sealing, line painting, and other miscellaneous construction activities.
Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please slow down and drive safely through the work zone. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
