PennDOT District 11 is announcing a partial closure on Route 380 (Bigelow Boulevard) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will continue Wednesday, May 24 weather permitting.

A partial closure of Bigelow Boulevard near the intersection with Bedford Avenue will continue at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning continuously through late June. Crews from Stefanik’s Next Generation Contracting Company will conduct paving work, approach and sleeper slab replacements, and electrical work on the FNB Tower Project requiring all northbound Bigelow Boulevard traffic to turn onto Washington Place. Northbound Bigelow Boulevard traffic continuing on Bigelow Boulevard or to Bedford Avenue at the closure will be detoured. The ramp from Seventh Avenue to Bigelow Boulevard will remain open to traffic.

  • From northbound Bigelow Boulevard, all traffic will turn right onto Washington Place
  • Turn left onto Centre Avenue
  • Turn left onto Logan Street
  • Follow Logan Street to Bedford Avenue
  • End detour

Northbound Bigelow Boulevard continuing to northbound Bigelow Boulevard

  • From northbound Bigelow Boulevard, all traffic will turn right onto Washington Place
  • Turn right onto Centre Avenue
  • Turn right onto Sixth Avenue
  • Turn right onto Grant Street
  • Turn right onto Seventh Avenue
  • Take the ramp to North 579/East 380 toward PPG Arena/Bigelow Boulevard
  • Stay in the left lane and follow to Bigelow Boulevard
  • End detour
