PennDOT District 11 is announcing replacement work on the Dutch Ridge Road (Route 4020) bridge over I-376 in Brighton Township, Beaver County, will begin Monday, March 11 weather permitting.

Bridge replacement work begins at approximately 7 a.m. Monday on Dutch Ridge Road over I-376 between Brighton Road and Yankee Court.  Dutch Ridge Road will close to traffic at the bridge continuously through late October. Traffic will be detoured.

East of the Bridge

  • From Dutch Ridge Road traveling westbound, turn left onto Brighton Road
  • Turn right onto Tuscarawas Road
  • Follow Tuscarawas Road back to Dutch Ridge Road
  • End detour

West of the Bridge

  • Same detour in opposite direction

Additionally, lane closures will occur as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and shoulder restriction on I-376 (Beaver Valley Expressway) in both directions under the bridge during demolition. Also, shoulder restrictions will occur as necessary from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on I-376 the week of Monday, March 11.  Around-the-clock shoulder restrictions will begin on Friday, March 15.

The replacement project is part of a $5.88 million contract and also includes approach roadway reconstruction. The prime contractor is Swank Construction LLC.
