PennDOT District 11 is announcing improvement work on Mt. Nebo Road (Route 4022) in Ohio Township, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, February 5 weather permitting.
Utility relocation work will occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through early May on the $7.66 million improvement project. Relocation work will occur between I-79 and Arndt Road and will require single-lane alternating traffic restrictions. Overnight work from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. may occur on weeknights.
Additional work includes roadway widening, turn lane installation, milling and resurfacing, drainage improvements, wall rehabilitation, guiderail upgrades, curb and sidewalk work, signal updates, pavement marking installation, and other miscellaneous construction activities.
The overall project will conclude in December 2019. Additional information will be provided in advance of the next phase of the project.
