PennDOT District 11 is announcing replacement work on the northbound Route 51 (Fourth Avenue) culvert over McCabe Run in Coraopolis Borough, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, July 6 weather permitting.

Beginning at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, Fourth Avenue will be reduced to a single-lane of traffic at the Arch Street intersection between Coraopolis-Neville Island Bridge and Chestnut Street. The lane restriction will remain in place around-the-clock through late September as crews from Allison Park Contractors conduct the culvert replacement work.

The $1.55 million project will conclude in mid-November and also includes curb and sidewalk repairs and resurfacing work.
