PennDOT District 11 is announcing replacement work on the Route 910 Bridge in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, August 12 weather permitting.

Bridge replacement work requiring a full closure will begin at approximately 6 a.m. Monday on the Route 910 structure over a branch of Deer Creek between Oak Road (Route 1022) and Frontier Drive. Traffic will be detoured through mid-October.

Posted Detour

East of the Bridge

  • From Route 910, turn onto Cedar Ridge Road (Route 1020)
  • Turn right onto Middle Road
  • Follow Middle Road back to Route 910
  • End detour

West of the Bridge

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

  1. I live in Beaver County and must travel on route 910 on Friday . I am not familiar with that area. I cannot find a map of the affected area on line. Could you add that to your post? I am sure I am not the only one with this concern? Thank you.

      I have forwarded your question to PennDOT District 11 and will get back to you as soon as I receive feedback from them. I currently do not have a map of the affected area to include in the posting. Thank you.

      Unfortunately according to PennDOT District 11 due to manpower issues, the Department can not create a map for every project. The Department sends out over 1,000 press releases annually. They relayed that for the Route 910 bridge project, the location is between Oak Road and Frontier Drive in West Deer Township.
