The Department of Public Works announced today that part of Wallace Road between Cochran Mill Road and the National Energy Technology Laboratory (626 Wallace Road) in Jefferson Hills and South Park will close starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023. The closure, which is expected to end in December 2023, is required for replacement of Lick Run Bridge No. 2, including new pavement, guide rail, pavement markings, and signage.

Traffic will be detoured using Cochran Mill Road, Brownsville Road, and Ridge Road. Residents living near the closure area will have access to their homes at all times.

The $1.4 million project will be done by Carmen Paliotta Contracting Company of South Park.
