PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge inspection activities on Interstate 279 (Parkway North) and the 10th Street Bypass (Route 2128) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Monday through Wednesday, January 13-15 weather permitting.
Single-lane restrictions for bridge inspection activities will occur according to the following schedule:
- Monday, January 13 – 10th Street Bypass in both directions between the 6th Street and 9th Street Bridges from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, January 14 – Northbound I-279 under the East Ohio Street and North Avenue Bridges from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Wednesday, January 15 – Southbound I-279 under the East Ohio Street and North Avenue Bridges from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Crews HDR, Inc. and the Sofis Rigging Company will conduct the bridge inspection work.
