The Department of Public Works announced today that work on Coulterville Road between Lincoln Way and the 2300 block in White Oak has been completed, and the required periodic lane closures have ended. The traffic restrictions, which began on April 3, were required for milling and paving, base repairs, drainage improvements, shoulder work, and guide rail replacement.

Coulterville Road is used by an average of 3,611 drivers daily.

The project was done by A. Folino Construction, Inc., of Oakmont as part of a $5.9 million contract that includes work on eight other roads.

Please note that Public Works permitted the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County to install a water line on Coulterville Road between Mohawk Drive and the Allegheny County/Westmoreland County line starting in July, and that work remains ongoing
