PennDOT District 11 is announcing drilling work on various roads in the East Pittsburgh Borough and North Versailles Township, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, March 5 weather permitting.

Drilling work requiring single-lane restrictions will occur weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through mid-March on the following roadways:

  • Route 2037 – East Pittsburgh McKeesport Boulevard in both directions between Navy-Marine Corps Way and Dixon Avenue
  • Route 2083 – Northbound Braddock Avenue between O’Connell Boulevard and Main Street

Crews from JMT, Navarro & Wright, and All Ways Safe will conduct the work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zones.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
