PennDOT District 11 is announcing traffic shifts on I-376 (Parkway West) in Collier and Robinson townships, Allegheny County, will begin Monday night, June 16 weather permitting.

Traffic will be reduced to a single lane on I-376 in each direction between the Ridge Road (Exit 61) and I-79 (Exit 64A) interchanges from 9 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. on Tuesday as crews prepare to shift motorists to a new traffic configuration.  Once the new traffic pattern is implemented, motorists in each direction on I-376 will be shifted to utilize the two 11-foot outer lanes for travel until early August to allow crews to conduct bridge and median barrier work.

Additionally, bridge work will begin at 9 p.m. Monday continuously through mid-September requiring the around-the-clock closure and detour of the following ramps:

  • Boyce Road to eastbound I-376
  • Westbound I-376 to Campbells Run Road (Exit 62)

  • Turn left onto Ridge Road
  • Turn left onto the ramp to eastbound I-376

The ramp work is part of the $12.6 million project on the Parkway West located between the Ridge Road (Exit 61) and I-79 (Exit 64A) interchanges in Robinson and Collier townships. Additionally, milling and paving on I-376, ramp preservation work, overhead sign structure repairs, drainage improvements, guide rail updates, and sign and pavement marking installation work will occur in 2025. Restrictions include the long-term closure of Boyce Road, ramp closures, overnight single-lane restrictions, and four weekend-long single-lane closures. The majority of the project is anticipated to be completed in late 2025, however, punch list work is expected to continue through January of 2026.
