The Department of Public Works, along with the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), invites the public to attend an online meeting on the Microsoft Teams video conferencing application from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 to discuss an upcoming Wible Run Bridge No. 11 replacement project. The bridge carries Anderson Road in Shaler.

The purpose of the meeting is to present preliminary construction and traffic control plans and to obtain public input prior to completion of the project’s final design. Construction for this project is anticipated to begin in 2028. Representatives from Allegheny County, PennDOT, and the county’s design consultant, Lochner Engineering, will be answering questions and addressing concerns about the project.

Those wishing to attend the meeting can register by filling out a form at https://engagement.alleghenycounty.us/wible-run-bridge-no-11-replacement-project. A link and phone number to attend the meeting will be emailed to those who register.
