The Department of Public Works announced today that part of the 500 block of Baileys Run Road in East Deer will close starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026. The closure, which is expected to end in June, is required for construction of a retaining wall, drainage improvements, roadway repairs, and the installation of pavement markings.
Traffic will be detoured using Freeport Road, Crawford Run Road, and Russellton Airport Road. Residents who live within and near the closure area will have access to their homes at all times.
Baileys Run Road is used by an average of 4,363 drivers daily.
Pugliano Construction of Plum is the primary construction contractor for the $164,446 project.
