The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing the closure of Brown Avenue (Route 130) in Turtle Creek Borough and Wilkins Township, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday through Friday, March 24-27 weather permitting.
Slide remediation work will begin at 8:00 AM Tuesday morning requiring an around-the-clock roadway closure between Ivy Street and Cedar Street through approximately 6:00 AM Friday, March 27. Traffic will be detoured.

South of the Closure
- From Route 130, turn onto the Tri-Boro Expressway heading westbound
- Turn right onto Electric Avenue
- Merge onto Route 30 (Ardmore Boulevard)
- Take the ramp 376/22/30 West toward Pittsburgh/Monroeville
- Stay right toward East 376/22 toward Monroeville
- Merge onto eastbound I-376 (Parkway East)
- Take the 130 Churchill (Exit 79B) off-ramp
- Turn right onto Churchill Road
- Follow Churchill Road back to Route 130
- End detour
North of the Closure
- From northbound Route 130, turn left onto William Penn Highway
- Turn left onto the ramp to West 376
- Merge onto westbound I-376 (Parkway East)
- Take the Edgewood/Swissvale (Exit 77) off-ramp
- At the traffic signal, turn left onto South Braddock Avenue
- Turn right onto Monongahela Avenue
- Take the ramp to East 376 toward Monroeville
- Merge onto eastbound I-376 (Parkway East)
- Take the East 30 Forest Hills (Exit 78A) off-ramp
- Follow Route 30 eastbound
- Take the ramp to East Pittsburgh/Turtle Creek
- Merge onto Electric Avenue
- Turn left onto the Tri-Boro Expressway
- Follow the Tri-Boro Expressway back to Route 130
- End detour
