PennDOT District 11 is announcing replacement work on the bridge that carries Route 136 (Rainbow Run Road) over Becket Run in Forward Township, Allegheny County will begin on Monday, June 9 weather permitting.
Bridge replacement work requiring the closure of Route 136 at the intersection with Ella Hollow Road will occur from 7:30 a.m. on Monday continuously through the end of August. Crews from Plum Contracting, Inc. will conduct bridge replacement work, approach roadway work, guide rail updates, wall construction, and pavement marking installation on this $1.92 million project. Traffic will be detoured.

East of the Closure
- From Route 136, take Route 51 northbound
- Turn left onto Hutchinson Drive
- Turn left onto Mentor Road
- Turn right onto Roberts Hollow Road
- Turn left onto Wall Road
- Turn left onto Williamsport Road
- Turn left onto Sunnyside Hollow Road
- Follow Sunnyside Hollow Road back to Route 136
- End detour
West of the Closure
- Same detour (listed above) in the opposite direction
From Ella Hollow Drive
- Take Ella Hollow Road northbound to Roberts Hollow Road
- Follow the above detours to either east or west of the bridge
Truck Detours
East of the Closure
- From Route 136, take Route 51 northbound
- Cross the Elizabeth Bridge
- Take the left-hand ramp to South 837 toward West Elizabeth
- Follow southbound Route 837 in Washington County
- Continue straight onto Route 88
- Turn left onto the Route 136 General Carl E Vuono Bridge and cross the Monongahela River
- At the end of the bridge, bear right onto Route 136
- End detour
West of the Closure
- From Route 136, cross the General Carl E Vuono Bridge over the Monongahela River
- Turn right onto Route 88
- Continue straight onto Route 837
- Follow northbound Route 837 into Allegheny County
- Take the ramp to Route 51 toward Elizabeth/Pittsburgh
- Follow South 51 toward Elizabeth
- Cross the Elizabeth Bridge
- Take the ramp to Route 136
- End detour

- Bicycles should detour via Route 906, Webster Hollow Road, Fellsburg Road, Willowbrook Road and Route 201
