A portion of the roadway to close through March
PennDOT District 11 is announcing slide remediation work on Route 2001 (Bunola River Road) in Forward Township, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, January 27 weather permitting.
A portion of Bunola River Road between Regina Drive and Pangburn Hollow Road will close to traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Monday morning continuously through Friday, March 7 to allow crews to conduct slide remediation work. Traffic will be detoured.

- From Bunola River Road, turn onto Pangburn Hollow Road
- Turn left onto Williamsport Road
- Turn right onto Warren Hill Road
- Turn left onto Roberts Hollow Road
- Turn left onto northbound Route 51
- Take the ramp to Elizabeth/Glassport
- Turn right onto 3rd Avenue
- End detour
North of the Closure
- Take Bunola River Road northbound
- Bunola River Road becomes Center Avenue
- Turn right onto 3rd Avenue
- Turn right onto Market Street
- Take the ramp to southbound Route 51
- Bear right onto Roberts Hollow Road
- Turn right onto Warren Hill Road
- Bear left onto Williamsport Road
- Turn right onto Pangburn Hollow Road
- Follow Pangburn Hollow Road back to Bunola River Road
- End detour
