PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work on Navy-Marine Corps Way (Route 2068) in North Versailles Township, Allegheny County will begin Friday, September 12 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions for inlet repair, and concrete mountable curb and median replacement will occur on Navy-Marine Corps Way between Route 30 and East Pittsburgh McKeesport Boulevard according to the following schedule:

  • Friday night, September 12 from 6:00 PM continuously through 6:00 AM Monday morning, September 15
  • Monday, September 15 through Friday, September 19 – 8:00 AM to 6 PM each day
  • Friday night, September 19 from 6:00 PM continuously through 6:00 AM Monday morning, September 22

Additionally, westbound Route 30 traffic to Navy-Marine Corps Way will be detoured intermittently during the work.

Westbound Route 30 to Navy-Marine Corps Way

  • From westbound Route 30, turn right onto Greensburg Avenue
  • Continue straight onto Greensburg Pike
  • Turn left onto Warren Drive
  • Turn left onto eastbound Route 30
  • Follow eastbound Route 30 back to the slip ramp to Navy-Marine Corps Way
  • End detour

The prime contractor is A. Liberoni, Inc. on this $8.51 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, base repair, pavement marking installation, and other various construction related activities.
