The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overnight bridge washing activities in various locations along Route 28 in Allegheny County will continue Wednesday, November 5 weather permitting.

Bridge washing activities requiring single-lane restrictions will occur weeknights through Thursday, November 13 from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM in both directions of Route 28 between the RIDC Park (Exit 10) and Harmar/I-76/Route 910 (Exit 11) interchanges.

Crews from Green Acres Contracting will conduct this work.

Please use caution if traveling on this roadway. Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
