PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge inspection activities on the Liberty Bridge (Route 3069) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, April 7 weather permitting.
Bridge inspection activities requiring lane restrictions on the Liberty Bridge and the ramps on the northern end of the structure will occur daily through Friday, April 18 according to the following schedule:
- Northbound – weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Southbound – weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Weekends – both directions from 6 a.m. to noon
At least one lane of traffic will remain open in each direction at all times during the inspection. Crews from Gannett Fleming will conduct the work.
