PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work on Mt. Royal Boulevard (Route 4019) in Hampton and Shaler townships, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, January 14 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur between Route 8 and Grant Avenue from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday, January 17. Crews will conduct drainage improvement work. Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone. Overnight work is expected to begin Monday night, January 20. Additional information will be provided in advance of the start of night work.

The prime contractor is A. Liberoni, Inc. on this $11.89 million group paving project. Improvement work includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other various construction related activities.
