PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work on Route 4031 (Babcock Boulevard) in McCandless, Pine, and Richland townships, Allegheny County will resume Tuesday, May 27 weather permitting.
Single-lane alternating traffic will occur from Cumberland Road to Valencia Road weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through mid-June. Crews will conduct drainage improvement work and milling and paving operations.
Flaggers will assist motorists through the work zone.
Overall improvement work on the $5.53 million group paving job includes milling and paving, drainage upgrades, shoulder repairs, guide rail updates, pavement markings, and other various construction related activities.
The prime contractor is A. Folino Construction.
