PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Route 8 in Allegheny County will begin Monday, July 15 weather permitting.

​Single-lane mobile restrictions will occur for raised pavement marker and microsurfacing work on Route 8 in the following locations: 

  • Between Butler County and Route 910
  • Between South Pioneer Road and the Highland Park Bridge

Work will occur nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. intermittently through mid-November. This work is part of an ongoing project occurring throughout the district and work may not occur each night.

Motorists should be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Please use caution when driving through the area.  Work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
