The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing roadway improvement work on Route 88 (Library Road) in the City of Pittsburgh and Castle Shannon Borough, Allegheny County will begin tonight, Monday night, March 23 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur weeknights from 8:00 PM to 6:00 on Route 88 between Connor Road and Route 51 through early April. Crews will conduct drainage improvement and slope repair work.

Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
