Overnight roadway closure will occur

PennDOT District 11 is announcing roadway improvement work requiring daylight lane restrictions and an overnight closure on a portion of Route 910 in Harmar Township, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday and Wednesday, November 26-27 weather permitting.

Paving operations will occur on Route 910 between the Route 28 interchange and Rich Hill Road according to the following schedule:

  • Tuesday – 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Single-lane restrictions
  • Tuesday 5 p.m. to Wednesday 7 a.m. – Full closure of the roadway

Traffic on Route 910 will be detoured during the closure. The Route 28 interchange will remain open to Route 910 traffic south of the closure. Motorists on northbound Route 910 south of closure should note that traveling beyond Gulf Lab Road will be forced to access either northbound or southbound Route 28.

  • From Route 910, take Freeport Road (Route 1001) southbound
  • Turn right onto Guys Run Road (Route 1011)
  • Bear right onto Fox Chapel Road (Route 1006)
  • Turn left onto Dorseyville Road (Route 1006)
  • Turn right onto Harts Run Road (route 1006)
  • Turn right onto Saxonburg Boulevard (Route 1013)
  • Follow Saxonburg Boulevard back to Route 910
  • End detour

North of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction
