PennDOT District 11 is announcing slide repair work on the Perrysville Avenue ramp to southbound I-279 (Parkway North) in Ross Township, Allegheny County will begin Thursday, July 10 weather permitting.

A traffic shift and shoulder closure will occur on the ramp from Cemetery Lane to southbound I-279 at the Perrysville Avenue interchange (Exit 5) weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through mid-August. Crews from A. Liberoni, Inc. will conduct slide repair work.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
