PennDOT District 11 is announcing bridge inspection activities on southbound I-579 in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Monday through Thursday, May 19-22 weather permitting.
Inspection activities requiring a southbound I-579 lane restriction will occur on the bridge located between the Veterans Bridge and Bigelow Boulevard from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
Crews from the Markosky Engineering and the Pittsburgh Rigging Company will conduct the routine inspection work.
