PennDOT District 11 is announcing an overnight closure of the southbound I-579 ramp to southbound Boulevard of the Allies (Route 885) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Monday night, April 7 and Wednesday night, April 9 weather permitting.
Overnight closures of the ramp carrying traffic from southbound I-579 to southbound (outbound) Boulevard of the Allies (Route 885) will occur from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night. Crews will conduct deck patching work on the ramp. Traffic will be detoured.

Southbound I-579 to southbound Boulevard of the Allies
- From southbound I-579, take the ramp to 7th Avenue/6th Avenue
- Take the ramp toward PPG Arena/6th Avenue
- Continue onto 6th Avenue
- Turn left onto Grant Street
- Turn left onto Forbes Avenue
- Turn right onto Craft Avenue
- Follow Craft Avenue to the Boulevard of the Allies
- End detour
Bigelow Boulevard to southbound Boulevard of the Allies
- From southbound Bigelow Boulevard, take the ramp to PPG Arena/6th Avenue
- Continue onto 6th Avenue
- Turn left onto Grant Street
- Turn left onto Forbes Avenue
- Turn right onto Craft Avenue
- Follow Craft Avenue to the Boulevard of the Allies
- End detour
Southbound I-579 to eastbound I-376 (Parkway East)
- From southbound I-579, continue straight toward Route 19/51 Liberty Bridge
- Continue through the Liberty Tunnel
- Turn right onto North Truck 19/North 51 toward the West End
- Take the left-hand West 376/South 19 ramp toward Carnegie/Pittsburgh International Airport
- Bear left toward South 19 Banksville Road and South Truck 19/51 Uniontown
- Bear left toward East 376/South 51 toward Uniontown
- Merge onto eastbound I-376 (Parkway West)
- Continue through the Fort Pitt Tunnel
- Take the ramp to East 376 toward Monroeville
- End detour
