The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing sealing and line painting activities on Route 28 in Millvale Borough and the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County have been extended overnights through mid-November weather permitting.

Mobile and single-lane restrictions will occur, as needed, on southbound Route 28 between the Millvale (Exit 3B) and south I-579/I-279, I-376/Veterans Bridge/Ft Pitt Bridge (Exit 1A) interchanges through late November from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sunday through Friday nights as crews conduct sealing and line painting operations.

The restrictions could be lifted earlier if the work is completed sooner. Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
