PRT’s 7-Spring Garden Bus Route to Resume Regular Service Today

The Department of Public Works announced today that Spring Garden Road between Beech Street and Williams Road in Reserve has reopened to traffic. The closure, which began on August 12, 2024, was required to install four new inlets, drainage pipe, and concrete curb; repairs to an existing inlet; paving; and replacement of pavement markings.

To accommodate the closure, Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) detoured its 7-Spring Garden bus route and temporarily discontinued 23 stops. Service to those stops, which are listed below, will resume this afternoon.
