Introduction

At RideACTA, our riders are at the heart of everything we do. To better understand your experiences, we conducted two Rider Experience Surveys—one in August 2024 and another in January 2025. Your feedback helps us improve our service and continue providing a reliable, convenient transportation option in the Airport Corridor. Here’s what we learned and what’s coming next!

Who Uses RideACTA?

Based on our survey results, RideACTA primarily serves commuters traveling to and from work:

  • 100% of August survey respondents use RideACTA for work commutes.

  • By January, 57.6% still relied on RideACTA for commuting, while 39.4% also used it for errands and shopping.

  • Riders span a range of age groups:

    • August survey: 16.7% were between 25-34 and 55-64.

    • January survey: 28.1% were 35-44, 25% were 25-34, and 21.9% were 45-54.

  • The majority of riders (93.8%) in August reported being employed full-time.

Why Riders Choose RideACTA

Convenience remains the top reason riders use RideACTA:

  • 68.4% of respondents in August said they ride because it’s convenient.

  • 10.5% highlighted affordability as a key benefit.

  • Regular ridership is strong:

    • In August, 63.2% rode 4+ days per week.

    • In January, 69.7% rode 3-5 times per week.

  • When not using RideACTA, 81.3% of January respondents rely on public transit, and 28.1% choose to walk.

Areas for Improvement

While the feedback was largely positive, riders also shared ways we can enhance the service:

  • Some riders expressed a need for expanded service hours to accommodate varying work schedules.

  • A few respondents noted that shorter wait times would improve their experience.

  • Additional pickup/drop-off locations were suggested for better access to more businesses and shopping centers.
