Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) has been hard at work redesigning the bus network, and they want your feedback to help make it even better! 🚍
This redesign is a crucial part of the NEXTransit Long-Range Plan launched in 2021, focusing on improving service, expanding connections, and prioritizing investments in disadvantaged communities. By listening to your input, PRT is shaping a network that better reflects the needs of Allegheny County’s residents.
What’s New in the Draft Network?
The draft network, developed based on public feedback, includes:
- Improved service to connect more people across the region
- Strategic investments in underserved and disadvantaged communities
- Updated routes to reflect changing travel patterns and evolving needs
Public engagement for this phase of the project began on September 30, 2024, and will continue through January 31, 2025.
Why Your Voice Matters
As a member of our transit community, your feedback is essential to shaping a system that works for everyone. By participating, you’ll help create a transit network that’s accessible, efficient, and aligned with your needs.
