The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing overnight bridge inspection activities on the I-376 Fort Pitt Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Sunday through Thursday nights, May 31-June 4 weather permitting.
Bridge inspection activities, requiring a single-lane restriction, will occur nightly from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM in the following locations:
- Westbound I-376 (the lower deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge)
- Ramp from southbound I-279 to westbound I-376 (the lower deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge)
- Ramp from Liberty Avenue to westbound I-376 (the lower deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge)
- Ramp from westbound I-376 (the lower deck of the Fort Pitt Bridge) to the West End (Exit 69C)
Crews from GFT will conduct bridge inspection activities. All ramps will remain open as work occurs.
