The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing bridge inspection activities on Interstate 79 in Collier Township, Allegheny County will occur Thursday and Friday, May 7-8 weather permitting.  

There will be single-lane restrictions in both directions of I-79 over Thoms Run Road located approximately one-half mile north of the Heidelberg/Collier (Exit 55) interchange from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.

PennDOT inspection staff will conduct this work. Please stay alert and drive cautiously – safety is everyone’s responsibility.
