The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is announcing intermittent traffic stoppages on Interstate 79 in Robinson and Collier townships, Allegheny County will occur Sunday, March 15 weather permitting.

Intermittent rolling traffic stoppages of 15 minutes or less will occur in both directions of I-79 between the Carnegie (Exit 57) and I-376 Airport/Pittsburgh (Exit 59 A/B) interchanges from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM (noon) Sunday. Additionally, ramp traffic from eastbound and westbound I-376 to southbound I-79 will also have traffic stoppages. Crews from the Duquesne Light Company will conduct wire removal work.
