Lane restrictions needed for sign installation as part of the Mon/Fayette Expressway Project.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike (PA Turnpike) wants to advise motorists that for approximately the next month a single lane closure could be in place in both directions along State Route 51 (S.R. 51) in Jefferson Hills Borough, Allegheny County.

Beginning Sept. 8, crews will be utilizing right lane closures while they erect sign structures in the area of Jefferson Boulevard.

Northbound traffic will be restricted between the Ridge Road overpass and Jefferson Boulevard.

Southbound traffic will be restricted between Elliot Road and Jefferson Boulevard.

Drivers heading northbound will still have access to Century Drive.

Crews will be working between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday until Oct. 2.
