The Department of Public Works announced today that periodic lane closures on Coulterville Road between Lincoln Way and the 2300 block in White Oak will begin at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. The restrictions will occur between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays, and they are expected to end in October. They are required for milling and paving, base repairs, drainage improvements, shoulder work, and guide rail replacement.

Drivers can expect to experience short stoppages at work zones, and flaggers will be used to control traffic.

Coulterville Road is used by an average of 3,611 drivers daily.

The project will be done by A. Folino Construction, Inc., of Oakmont as part of a $5.6 million contract that includes work on eight other roads.
