Occasional lane restrictions needed for bridge construction on the Mon/Fayette Expressway.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) wants to alert motorists that lane restrictions are now possible on State Route 51 as crews construct two bridges for the Mon/Fayette Expressway (PA Turnpike 43) in Jefferson Hills Borough, Allegheny County.
Single-lane restrictions on State Route 51 could happen both northbound and southbound between Worthington Avenue and Jefferson Boulevard throughout construction.
Crews will be utilizing the single-lane closure only as needed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. until construction is completed in this area, which is expected to be October of 2026.
